My Introduction to Bread Making Class, teaches an original & powerful technique, to create a light airy dough; the secret to making mouth watering bread of all types.
In this introduction, you will learn how to combine the dough with a range of fresh ingredients, to produce a range of impressive breads from wholemeal loaves & deliciously flavoured Fougasse, to seeded rolls & Focaccias.
Regardless of your level of experience, I guarantee that you will be able to make your own bread successfully after this class.
If you have attempted to make bread before and have been disappointed with the results this is the class for you. If you have never made bread before and now want to add this skill set to you repetoire then book a class!
Please do not be intimidated by the word ‘artisan’ it is used here to distinguish this class from my introduction to bread making class – there is nothing complicated about making bread and my classes are intended to teach you how easy it is to make impressive bread.
This class teaches an original technique to create a light airy dough, going on to create Baguettes, Ciabatta, Provencal style Olive Bread and a delicious speciality bread flavoured with Gruyere Cheese and Cumin. In this class you will be using a Sourdough starter, which gives structure and flavour to the bread produced and working with a variety of flours.
The class is ‘hands on’ and although you are instructed you will be making your own bread, regardless of your level of experience we guarantee that you will be making impressive bread going forward..Importantly you will understand how the dough should feel with regards to its consistency which is key to producing bread that is light and airy.
At the current time my classes are only being conducted in your kitchen-this is temporary until a permanent kitchen can be established to hold group classes. Should you wish to book me the class can be for yourself or family and friends too. A minimum of two people per class is required.
